In Elafonisos you will find 4 easily accessible beaches, 3 of which are fully organized. The small and large beach of Simos, the beach of Lefki and the beach of Panagia. However, the island gives you the opportunity to rent a boat to discover the other magnificent beaches of the island in just a few minutes. Agios Patapios on Aglyftis beach will enchant you with its beauty, which few will see as access is only by sea.
If you are a fan of history and antiquity, the sunken state of Pavlopetri is worth your visit. A few meters from the port of Pounta, where you will take the ferry boat to Elafonisos, is the archeological site.  Finally, if you want to combine your visit to Elafonisos with another nearby destination, the choice of Monemvasia is ideal. With the new road network in just 45 minutes from the port of Pounta you reach the romantic castle town of Monemvasia with its cobbled alleys and a view that will take your breath away.
